Who is Dr. Bink?

That’s me! I’m Dr. Brooke Binkley—a teacher, mom, and advocate for strong, effective education.

I created Dr. Bink Education to support both students and teachers through structured, meaningful instruction that actually works in real classrooms. As a kindergarten teacher, I am passionate about building strong foundations in literacy through explicit instruction, modeling, and consistent routines that help students grow into confident readers and thinkers.

My approach blends classroom experience with research-based practices, focusing on comprehension, vocabulary development, and student engagement in a way that is both practical and impactful.

Educational Background

My academic journey reflects my commitment to both teaching and leadership in education:

  • Associate degree in Business Administration (Marketing)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Educational Studies

  • Master’s degree in Instructional Design

  • Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership

  • Doctorate in Education (Ed.D.) with a specialization in Educational Leadership (summa cum laude)

Professional Focus

My work centers on:

  • Early literacy and foundational reading skills

  • Structured, explicit instruction

  • Modeling and guided practice

  • Creating resources that reduce teacher workload while increasing student outcomes

In addition to my classroom experience, I have led professional development on teacher burnout and completed my doctoral dissertation on the relationship between teacher burnout, school administration, and school culture.

Why Dr. Bink Education?

Every resource I create is designed with one goal in mind:

To make teaching more effective, manageable, and meaningful.

I believe that when teachers are supported with clear, structured tools, students thrive. My resources are classroom-tested, no-prep (or low-prep) when possible, and built to fit seamlessly into real instructional time.

Beyond the Classroom

Outside of education, I’m a mom who understands the importance of balance, connection, and creating meaningful learning experiences both in and out of the classroom.
